Aunt Chrissy was going up to MD to spend Christmas with Momma and Seedo so we did an early Christmas. Michael had so much fun opening his presents with her.
Bryn and Florella were nice enough to have us, the Castros, and the Katzs over for brunch so we could all catch up while we were in Philly. The kids had a blast playing together and opening some presents. Here are Michael and Aidan.
Michael and Joey (his classmate and neighbor) at their Christmas Program. Michael was such a ham onstage and clapped loudest of all for himself. There is adorable video and if I can ever get the computer to cooperate, I will post it.
We went to Christmas at Central Park today. They had a craft fair and train and even Santa. Michael was a little apprehensive about the whole Santa thing. Though he did stop crying long enough to tell him that he wanted Thomas the Tank Engine for Christmas.
Michael school Halloween Party was today. They had a little carnival and pizza and cupcakes. Here he is chowing down. He actually ate TWO ENTIRE pieces of pizza!
Saying "Cheese!" for the camera.
Waiting for his turn to throw the banana.
Michael chatting with his friends about the Halloween tattos they got. (Michael wouldn't get one so his is in his goody bag)
Michael asked Glenn what the logo was on his shirt and Glenn told him it meant "coolness" and Michael keeps saying it over and over. Long enough for me to get some video.
This is Michael's version of helping Daddy hang trim. Mostly it involved running around the futon in circles for about an hour. Oh, and he held the level up too.
Today Michael insisted that he didn't want to wear a diaper after dinner. I agreed as long as he would sit on the potty. On our third try, he went pee pee. For his efforts, he got some M&M's and the a new Thomas train. He picked James.
Today we went to Helen which is a town up in the GA mountains that has turned itself into a remake of a German alpine village. While we were there, we went to Charlemagne's Kingdom which is a giant model railroad of all of Germany. To say Michael loved it would be an understatement.
Going with one of the teachers at drop off. When I picked him up they said he didn't cry at all. I even got the first picture he drew to hang on my fridge.
